The VP4630 can accommodate up to 64GB DDR4 RAM in 2x DDR4 SODIMM slots and has an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD storage slot in addition to a built-in 16GB eMMC module.
Its all aluminum enclosure (no plastic here) is a giant heat sink, keeping the CPU cool. The Vault is fanless so it has no moving parts, which results in an incredibly durable platform that can be used in less than ideal environments. The Vault uses standard Intel CPU and network ports which results in compatibility with a large variety of operating systems, including a number of open source firewall projects. The VP4630 features an Intel 10th Generation CPU, i3-10110U, 6x Intel i225-V 2.5G Network ports, NVMe storage, and DDR4 DRAM. The VP4630 is the second platform of the Vault Pro series with higher performance and newer technology than the original FW series.
The Vault is a small form network appliance built for use as a firewall / router, virtualization platform, a daily-driven personal computer, and more.
